About Us — Charge Fog Inc. | 48-V Wireless Power Story & Platform

About Us • Charge Fog Inc.

Engineering the end of
the power cord.

Charge Fog Inc. exists to answer a simple question: in a world where everything is wireless, why are laptops still tied to cables and power bricks? We are building a 48-V wireless power ecosystem that makes power feel as ambient as Wi-Fi — built for real workspaces, not just lab demos.

Our Story

Charge Fog Inc. was created around a simple observation: power is the last part of the modern workspace that hasn’t gone ambient.

Desks and meeting rooms are still full of tangled cords, broken adapters, overloaded power strips, and DIY under-desk wiring. Laptops have become the centre of work — yet charging them still feels fragile and dated.

We started with research into magnetic resonance, high-power conversion, and 48-V safety. That work turned into a complete system: transmitters hidden under desks, precision pads on the surface, and receivers that negotiate power on demand. The goal is simple — make power feel like an invisible utility that people never have to think about.

What We Build

Charge Fog Inc. is designing a full 48-V wireless power platform — a single backbone that feeds transmitters, pads, and receivers across homes, offices, cafés, hotels, airports, and industrial floors.

Transmitter

Halo Base

Hidden 48-V transmitters that couple power through wood, laminate, and engineered surfaces to create room-scale and desk-scale energy zones without visible hardware.

Surface Pads

Halo Pads

Slim, precision charging pads that sit where people actually work. They turn desks and counters into laptop-grade wireless power surfaces while keeping the environment visually clean.

Device Bridges

PD Bridge Receivers

USB-C PD bridges that bring today’s laptops, tablets, and peripherals onto the Halo platform, so existing devices can benefit from the 48-V backbone without new hardware designs.

Deep Technology

Under the surface, Charge Fog Inc. combines physics, power electronics, firmware, and data into a single, tightly controlled platform.

Field & Power

Resonant energy & 48-V conversion

  • High-Q coil designs tuned for desk and counter materials
  • Focused magnetic fields that minimise stray emissions
  • High-efficiency inverter and 48-V conversion topologies
  • Room-scale coverage with desk-level peak efficiency

Control & Safety

Firmware & control loops

  • Real-time pad and device identification
  • Adaptive voltage and current control per zone
  • Thermal monitoring across transmitters and pads
  • Foreign-object detection and safe power-down states

Data Layer

Smart workspace data

  • Anonymous charging and utilisation analytics
  • Heat and load trend views across desks and zones
  • Signals for workspace planning and device health
  • Foundation for AI-assisted power and fleet management

Design Philosophy

Charge Fog Inc. follows a strict design philosophy: technology should disappear into the environment while the experience gets dramatically better.

Industrial

Apple-clean minimalism

  • Matte finishes and tight, repeatable geometry
  • Transmitters hidden under desks and counters
  • Surfaces that look like furniture, not equipment

Experience

Zero visual clutter

  • No exposed bricks or desk-level cable nests
  • Charging zones that feel natural, not technical
  • Workspaces that stay focused and calm

Interaction

UI-free power

  • Place the device down; power just flows
  • No apps or dashboards required for everyday use
  • Tools reserved for diagnostics and fleet control

Manufacturing & Engineering

This is not a sketch on a slide — it is a manufacturing roadmap tied to real hardware, real assembly, and certification paths.

Engineering & Prototyping

  • CAD models, exploded views, and enclosure design
  • Coil, converter, and thermal R&D
  • Firmware development and system-level control logic
  • Pre-compliance testing to de-risk certification

Cebu Assembly Hub

  • Receiver and transmitter assembly lines
  • Quality control, fixture design, and line checks
  • Packaging workflows and pre-export staging
  • Positioned for global distribution

Compliance & Readiness

  • Packaging and SKUs built for retail and enterprise
  • Targets for FCC, CE, UKCA and related marks
  • EM and safety performance designed in from the start
  • Playbooks for workspace, hospitality, and OEM rollouts

Where it belongs

Charge Fog’s wireless ecosystem is engineered for the places where laptops and tablets already live:

  • Home offices and modern corporate workstations
  • Coffee shops, cafés, and coworking spaces
  • Hotels, airport lounges, and gate seating
  • Smart retail tables, kiosks, and point-of-sale
  • Education, enterprise, and industrial control environments

Wherever people work, meet, or create, power should be as simple as placing a device on the surface.

A Platform for the Future

Charge Fog Inc. is building more than a set of chargers — we are building a platform layer for power.

The Charge Fog Data Layer turns anonymous charging activity into useful signals:

  • Battery behaviour and charging-frequency insights
  • Heat and load trends across desks, rooms, and locations
  • Workspace utilisation patterns and device health signals
  • Inputs for future smart-building and workspace systems

Over time, this enables partnerships with device manufacturers, workspace platforms, and enterprise tools — with a path to AI-assisted power management and fleet-level optimisation. Wireless power is the foundation. Intelligence built on top of it is where the story goes next.

Our Mission

To remove power cords from modern work by building the world’s first scalable 48-V wireless power ecosystem — one that blends hardware, firmware, design, and workspace intelligence into a single seamless experience. Power should not be something people hunt for and plug in. Power should simply be there.
