48-V wireless laptop charging • Halo ecosystem
Power Without Wires. Wireless power for real workspaces.
Charge Fog is a 48-V wireless power platform for laptops and modern desks. A hidden Halo Base under the table and a slim Halo Pad on top create a clean, cable-free charging zone—so power feels built in, not bolted on.

What is Charge Fog?
Charge Fog is a 48-V wireless laptop charging ecosystem. A Halo Base mounts underneath the desk, and a Halo Pad sits on top—together they create a controlled power zone. You connect your laptop normally via USB-C charging, and power “disappears” into the desk.
Under-desk transmitter
The Halo Base mounts under the desk, out of sight and out of the way. It creates a focused wireless power zone through the surface—built for laptop-class power, not phone-only trickle charging.
Power comes from a compact supply, so facilities teams and landlords see a clean install: no dangling bricks, no taped-up adapters, and no cable nests under tables.
Surface pad
On top of the desk, the Halo Pad makes the zone visible and effortless to use. Place your laptop on the pad and connect your USB-C charging cable as you normally would— the pad delivers clean power while you work.
You sit down, plug in, and start working. No outlet hunting. No worn-out power bricks. No “which charger belongs to which device?” chaos in shared spaces.
How the power flows
Why move beyond cables?
- Scrap the drawer of broken tips, adapters, and mismatched chargers.
- Give every seat a predictable, ready-to-use power experience.
- Design workspaces that look as modern as the laptops on them.
Charge Fog vs. traditional chargers
- Charge Fog: power is built into the desk experience—clean, consistent, and always there.
- Traditional: each seat competes for outlets, bricks, and cable space.
- Result: faster turnover, tidier desks, and less lost hardware.
The Charge Fog ecosystem
The platform is built from simple building blocks—Halo Base, Halo Pads, and workspace kits—so you can start with a single desk and scale to rooms, floors, and entire locations.
Halo Base
A compact 48-V transmitter mounted underneath the desk, out of sight but always ready. It defines a wireless charging zone exactly where people sit and work.
- Mounts with a dedicated bracket and template
- Optimized for wood, laminate, and selected engineered surfaces
- Thermal, fault, and foreign-object protections built into firmware
Halo Pads
Ultra-thin surface pads that make the power zone visible and easy to use. Your laptop rests naturally on the pad while you work.
- Different footprints for focus desks, creators, and extended setups
- Soft-touch, laptop-friendly surface finishes
- Subtle indicators so users know they are in the charging zone
Workspace kits
Pre-configured bundles that combine a Halo Base, the right Pad, and the hardware needed for a clean install in real offices and homes.
- Home office, studios, team pods, and meeting rooms
- Clear install guides and mounting hardware included
- Roadmap for multi-desk and multi-room rollouts
Why people choose Charge Fog
This isn’t a gimmick charger. Charge Fog is designed for teams, creators, and spaces that run on laptops all day—and want power to fade into the background.
Nothing left on the floor
No more power strips, extension leads, and tangled bricks around chair legs. The desk stays clean—top and bottom.
Built for laptops, not phones
48-V architecture targets laptop-class power delivery and control—designed for real work, not just overnight phone charging.
Controlled, monitored, certifiable
Embedded sensing and firmware continuously monitor operation. The platform is engineered to meet global safety and EMC requirements.
From one desk to whole floors
Start with a single Halo kit and expand across desks, rooms, and locations as you standardize power across your spaces.
Specs & compatibility
The Halo system is being engineered to keep up with today’s USB-C laptops while fitting into real desks and interiors— not just lab benches.
High-voltage DC architecture for efficient power transfer and control.
Configured per pad and use case to match laptop-class charging profiles.
Optimized for common worktops in homes, offices, cafés and lounges.
*Final wattage, regions, and model-specific limits will be published before production units ship.
Laptop & surface compatibility
First-generation Charge Fog hardware focuses on modern USB-C charging laptops and mainstream furniture, so you can deploy without rebuilding your space.
- Targets USB-C charging laptops (including USB-C Power Delivery devices).
- Works through most wood and laminate desks up to 50 mm.
- Selected engineered stone and composite surfaces supported.
- Metal desktops directly over the zone are not recommended.
- Final supported profiles will be published prior to production release.
Installation guide preview
Charge Fog is designed so founders, facilities teams, and integrators can install a desk in under an hour using standard tools.
Mark the power zone
Use the included template to mark where the Halo Base will sit underneath and where the Halo Pad sits above.
Mount the Halo Base
Fix the Base with the supplied bracket and screws, route the cable neatly, and connect it to the power supply.
Place the Halo Pad & verify
Position the Halo Pad in the marked zone and confirm power delivery in the charging window. Then connect your laptop normally via USB-C charging and start working.
Full installation documentation, templates, and safety notes ship with every Halo kit.
Accessories & add-ons
The core hardware is only part of the experience. Mounting, cable management, and expansion options make it easy to roll out across more desks and locations.
Mounting & alignment kit
Everything you need to line up the Base and Pad and hit the power zone on the first install.
- Under-desk brackets and screws
- Top and bottom alignment templates
- Adhesive options for no-drill environments
Cable management pack
Keep the underside of the desk as clean as the top by routing power where people never see it.
- Clips, channels, and raceways
- Mounting options for compact strips
- Matching ties for a tidy underside layout
Extra pads & expansion
Add more Halo Pads as teams and device fleets grow—without redesigning the core system.
- Different pad footprints for different roles
- Bundles for multi-desk and project rollouts
- Roadmap for dedicated tablet and accessory pads

FAQ
The questions people ask when they see 48-V wireless laptop charging and the Halo ecosystem for the first time.
The platform is engineered around controlled 48-V power, sensing, and firmware monitoring designed to support safe operation in real environments.
Final certifications and regional approvals will be published before production units ship.
The first generation targets modern laptops that charge via USB-C (including USB-C Power Delivery). Final supported profiles will be published before the production launch.
Charge Fog is optimized for wood and laminate desks up to about 50 mm thick. Selected engineered stone and composite surfaces are supported; solid metal tops directly over the zone are not recommended.
Halo kits are designed for founders, facilities teams, and integrators to install with standard tools. For bigger projects, Charge Fog can work with partners and furniture makers to ship desks with the system pre-installed.
The system monitors operating conditions and adapts power within the charging window. If the laptop moves out of the effective zone, power is reduced or paused until the device is back in range.
Charge Fog is targeting initial production in 2026, with limited pilot runs before that. The Shop page is where you can reserve early units and follow the rollout.
